The place offered great value for the price paid, and its colonial vibe put it right in the heart of Ciudad Vieja; the staff were friendly and the location unbeatable. The bathrooms could use a little improvement.

The hostel sits in a convenient spot in the old town, and everything is within walking distance; the rooftop view is great. Overall, the accommodation feels very outdated, worn, and in need of renovation. The kitchen and its utensils are extremely dirty, and cockroaches roam across the counter. The building is very sound‑prone, so you hear everything from your neighbors, and there’s a loud bar in the adjacent building. It’s definitely overpriced for what you get.

I was really surprised! I never expected what this hostel had in store for me. The service was perfect, the facilities excellent, and the cost was beneficial—truly very, very good.
