The property was lovely inside and out. The patio and garden were especially nice for cool evenings. Parking was appreciated even though it meant backing into the small space from the busy street. Portuguese drivers were polite. The owner was very responsive. No central A/C; the room units didn’t cool well.

Spacious house with two bathrooms, fully equipped, but the front is next to a busy road and everything feels a bit outdated; every room could use a touch of renovation, yet you can stay comfortably. Occasionally a cockroach appears, and oddly enough it’s dead by the next morning. Still, welcome to the Azores.
