1 double bed
“Sajutāmies kā muižkungi!”
We stayed alone in a large mansion, so everything was excellent. All the necessary supplies for cooking were provided. Check‑in and check‑out were very comfortable. The price‑quality ratio was outstanding. I recommend it!
“Лучше бы спала в багажнике.”
Silence. The chalet was a wooden shed for instruments, but with a bed. My husband was happy, remembering his poor youth. This was the first place in my travel life where there was no sink to brush teeth, a shower with icy water in the neighboring bath, a stinky toilet like an outdoor pit, and a door that couldn’t be opened because it faced the baron's estate. There was no breakfast to buy, no bread to cut, no plates. The cold was dog‑cold. The blankets and pillows were makeshift. I fell asleep when I realized a towel was the warmest and driest thing. The host didn’t show up.
“Jauka vieta, var atgriezties.”
The room should have a television.
“Very authentic place! Good value for the money”
The host was incredibly responsive and made us feel very welcome. This bed‑and‑breakfast has its own charm, is well maintained, and cozy. Since we arrived on a Monday, we turned out to be the only guests in the whole manor building and were offered a choice of rooms. The second floor has a large terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee. The first floor has a kitchenette that you can use. The property is surrounded by a larch park, giving a very homely atmosphere. There’s also the option to take a boat ride on the nearby Ventas River.
“wonderful”
Everything was great. I recommend everyone to stay. I’ll definitely come back.
