“Sadly, a thoroughly underwhelming room.”

The hotel is centrally located and close to the major memorials and sights in DC. The aircon is powerful, a big plus in the hot weather. The shower is also very good. We booked a room with Monument view. Instead, we got the tip of the Monument, just like the lead part of a pencil + a little bit more. The photo is a misrepresentation of the actual view and we can’t help feeling cheated given that we have paid extra for the so called Monument view’ The layout of the room is odd. The desk is at a corner where there is no overhead night or desk lamp. You have to rely on the bedside lights and the 2 lights above the bed if you want to write at the desk. Overall, the room is a bit dark and feels somewhat miserable

“A very pleasant stay, with good facilities, a great location, and attentive service.”

The hotel is gorgeous, well‑situated, and comfortable. The room was spotless and organized, and the staff delivered excellent service. I want to highlight Diego at the front desk, who was very polite, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. We had no issues at all; everything functioned smoothly, and the overall experience was very pleasant.

“The location is great, overall, the staff is very accommodating”

The breakfast was solid and the service was good, though the instructions could have been clearer; the tables were sticky after us, the chairs weren’t refreshed, and moving the individual chairs and tables was difficult, making comfort hard to achieve. Cleanliness, especially in the bar/lounge and dining area, was lacking.
