The room was comfortable and the bed was the same; the shared area was great for morning coffee. It wasn’t very convenient for train travel—15 minutes on cobblestones, which is tough with luggage or if you want to use the train to Salerno and Naples often. The bus stop was close, only a 3‑minute walk, but it took 30 minutes to reach Salerno.
The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were large and clean. The terrace offered a lovely view, and parking was available in the courtyard. We had focused on the kitchen, expecting it to be fully functional based on the photos, but upon arrival we were told the stove plate couldn’t be used. Every half hour a bell rang from the nearby church, which of course the host couldn’t control.
“Nice place”
The location and view were great, and there’s a nice restaurant nearby called Giovanni. The beach has black sand, which unfortunately makes the free beach a bit less visible.
The room was comfortable, the shared spaces were useful—you could make coffee and sit; unfortunately, the room had ants.
“Very good place to stay close to Sorrento and to the beach”
I’d highly recommend this place. The staff were flexible with our late check‑in, letting us drop off luggage in the common area hours before the official time, and our room was ready even earlier than the earliest check‑in slot, which made our day much easier. The room itself was immaculate and sound‑proof, the bathroom was fully equipped and spotless, and the terrace had a beautiful view. The common room offered plenty of amenities like a coffee machine and fridge. The location was great, a short walk to the beach and well connected by train or bus to Sorrento. The room cleaner was very friendly and consistently did a great job. The only downside was that the stairs to the property were a bit cumbersome with luggage, but the cleaner helped us up.
