“Good hostel near canmore”

The hostel gives a nice view and the price is reasonable, but it's quite far from Banff and sits on a hill that isn’t ideal for older folks.

Free towels, a kitchen, and good Wi‑Fi were offered, yet I never got a reply to any messages I sent, was shocked to find no shampoo, had no curtains or bedside lamps, and paid over 90,000 won for a single bed in a six‑person room (as of late September); the bunk bed rail on the second floor felt unsafe, and because of an over‑booking error I ended up in a seven‑person room—overall it was a real disappointment and I’d advise against it; I had come all the way here with a friend instead of Banff, and the lack of rooms left us feeling crushed.

“Would book again.”

I liked the common room with its big windows and the amazing view, and there were two large bathrooms on the sleeping floor; hiking trails above the hostel were a nice touch, but ear plugs were definitely needed—though they did provide them.
