Visiwa is a gem with friendly and helpful staff everywhere. The spot is central to many things in Watamu, and the hotel itself offers quiet places to relax and enjoy the beach and view. We came for our honeymoon and the staff set up our room nicely, offering extra gestures if we wanted them. The restaurant is also worth mentioning—the dinner menu is really good and worth visiting even if you’re not staying at the hotel. We’ll definitely return. The breakfast buffet felt odd because only one coffee is included; if you want a second, you have to pay. When the breakfast itself is this nice, it would be great to enjoy it for longer, and a second cup of coffee is often part of that.

We stayed at a wonderful spot that gave us unforgettable moments; the great food, warm welcome, Purity’s excellent massages, the birdsong greeting us at the entrance, and especially the stunning ocean view from the gazebo all made it special.

The property was spotless, the staff were friendly, well‑prepared, and always smiling, making us feel at home and we’ll definitely return; the room was spacious and consistently clean, and I celebrated my birthday there with everyone going above and beyond.
