Hotel-Residenz Oberurseler Hof

The staff at this family hotel were friendly and helpful, turning my stay into a very nice experience. The rooms included a coffee maker and free coffee capsules, something I rarely see in 4‑star hotels. The inexpensive breakfast was really worth the money.

Everything was perfect! The room was nice and tidy, and they even had capsule coffees, teas, and a snack waiting for me when I entered. The staff were welcoming and let me use their dining room to eat food I brought from the town’s market. The location is close to the town center and the train station, making it ideal. The only minor issue was that a couple of ceiling light bulbs were out, but there were enough lamps and a table lamp, so it wasn’t a big problem.

“Solidem”

The location is good and the hotel is very clean, with large rooms. However, during my stay there were many migrant workers or men on site, which didn’t create a relaxed vacation vibe, and early in the morning the hallway was a bit noisy.

“Achtung Mäusebefall”

During the two nights we stayed, a mouse showed up in a different room each time; the staff dealt with it in a routine way and managed to remove one mouse in a single night, yet when we tried to discuss the issue later the hotel stubbornly denied any infestation, which was very unpleasant.

“Fantastische week gehad”

The quiet location near the center is great, and it’s also a good spot to park your car. The place was tidy and the staff were friendly.
