“A great spot to stay in Ella!”

We had an amazing stay at Su Casa Ella. Everyone was extremely kind and attentive. Bhathiya was a great help in rearranging our plans because of flooding in Nuwara Eliya. The rooms were very large and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent, and the view from the breakfast area is unbeatable. The hotel is in a quiet spot just a short walk from town centre. Some paint or plaster is peeling, which isn’t a big deal but could be fixed to improve the look.

“Excellent hospitality”

Seewali was the nicest and most welcoming host ever, extremely helpful in every situation and even preparing our breakfast each morning. He gave us a lot of useful information and was always available when we needed help. The accommodation itself was very good and centrally located, just a few minutes’ walk from the main street. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom clean, making our stay comfortable. One of the bedsheets was torn and the furniture felt a bit old. The ceiling could use a fresh coat of paint. Overall, we had a pleasant stay thanks to the excellent hospitality and great location.

“Comfortable stay. Long walk from the main town with steep slopes so a bit difficult with children.”

The breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were fantastic and the location is just a short walk into the lively streets of Ella, though I'm not sure if I'd walk back at night. The rooftop breakfast was generous and tasty, with a stunning view, and the room even had a fridge stocked with cold beer. On the downside, the hotel felt a bit basic for the price, the wall fan (which could be upgraded if needed) took a while to heat water in the shower, and the water pressure was weak.
