I liked that someone was always at the reception. We had a high‑floor room with a nice view of the Empire State Building. Being close to the metro made sightseeing easier. The rooftop view was beautiful. Unfortunately, the street has a lot of homeless people. On the plus side, there’s security at the building entrance. It’s loud and not very safe to go out alone after dark. They take a fairly high deposit at check‑in, but luckily the deposit was refunded the next day after check‑out.

The location was perfect. The staff were very attentive and professional. The breakfast isn’t worth buying; there’s very little variety. The coffee is bad and the croissants are stale, but if that isn’t a problem you might give it a try. If you’re sensitive to street noise, keep that in mind.

Clean and modern rooms. Very noisy – poor sound insulation.
