The hotel was clean and honored the booking price, and the reservation was ready upon arrival. However, getting hot water required a trick: you had to run the sink faucet for 5–10 minutes until the water warmed, then turn on the shower—an odd method that I felt was wasteful and only discovered after complaining about no hot water. It’s the first place I’ve been to that doesn’t provide bottled water for basic hygiene; a small bottle would have been appreciated. The staff weren’t very warm, and because I was there for work, the lack of a laptop table made it uncomfortable; when I asked for one, they refused.
