The location is perfect, close to the square where everything happens. The host is extremely helpful and very accommodating. We practiced our Italian during breakfast, which he served in the garden. The shower was a little bit small, might be difficult to use for someone who is not just skin and bones.

Location and staff. The wifi doesn’t work. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. The walls and the room in general are very old: not vintage, old. The wall was crumbling. The bidet was totally clogged. The shower was rusty and old. The room did not resemble the photos seen on booking.

I had everything I needed: a hairdryer, a fridge, a garden – an authentic room right at the spot’s hotspot, and the host was spot‑on. Parking was a bit of a hunt; I always found a spot but had to look.
