“Bester Authentalt in den Niederlanden”

The staff’s extraordinary friendliness really stood out – you walk in and feel right at home. The hotel sits in a great spot, with a supermarket and several restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. Inside, there’s a lounge where you can sit, play games, and chat, which is especially nice for groups. The manager speaks fluent German, making communication a breeze. When we head back to Groningen, we’ll definitely stay here again.

The host was super kind and attentive, making you feel very welcome and speaking good German. It’s a small, pleasant hotel where you can choose three dishes for breakfast, all freshly prepared and served at the table. There are microwaves, plates, and cutlery for everyone to heat up their own food, a lockable bike garage, and the option to charge e‑bikes. I can only recommend this place highly.

“Gastvrij”

The helpful, friendly hotelier and the quiet bedroom made for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was surprisingly tasty. I can’t think of anything negative.

The location was perfect for us heading to the TT Circuit Assen, and the motorcycle parking was convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The host welcomed us warmly. Breakfast was pre‑ordered, offered a good variety, and had large portions. There are plenty of spots for dinner within a short walk. We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. I’d highly recommend it and will return in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
