The rooms were clean, the furnishings were in excellent condition and everything worked. The staff was very helpful and the location was great. Nothing.

I liked the spot in the nicest part of Flores, but because of a booking glitch the hotel couldn’t put us in the room we’d booked and offered a different one, which we accepted. The next day, while we were out exploring Tikal, staff entered our room—where we’d left our belongings scattered—and moved us to another room without telling us, apparently to free the original room for someone else. When we returned, we found other guests in our room, our stuff gone, and later learned it had been relocated. It feels wrong for staff to enter a guest’s room and touch belongings without permission, and the incident was a serious breach of privacy and discomfort.

Air conditioning was an absolute lifesaver in the heat – the hotel was incredibly comfortable and clean. The staff were very attentive and helped us reach the airport on time. The place is great for getting to local restaurants and meeting spots.
