The room was a comfortable size, the beds and pillows were excellent, the minibar was handy, there was direct lake access, a parking spot with an electric car charger, a nice restaurant overlooking the lake, a pleasant wellness area, most staff were very friendly, the breakfast was superb, it’s right by the train station, the windows were well insulated, the shower was large and the bathroom was open. For me it was fine for single use. The blonde older lady at reception was repeatedly unfriendly with a snippy tone throughout our stay, so we preferred talking to other staff. The air‑conditioning didn’t work in the room; I noticed that the switch was easier to use in another room than in the African room. The light‑switch system is nice in theory, but at night you can’t find the right button. The hallway and bathroom lighting could be brighter.
