It was clean, affordable, and comfortable, and everything was perfect.

Even though it’s a roadside motor hotel in a light industrial area, the rooms had a fun contemporary design, were spotless, had a fresh soothing décor, the furniture was decent and not worn, the beds were comfortable, the TV was fairly large with good colour and picture, and the bathroom featured new, modern fixtures for the shower and toilet – a true little oasis in a small prairie town. It was a SUPERIOR motor hotel and I can’t think of anything that needs improvement, so 10 out of 10 stars.

I skipped the hotel breakfast and bought food from the convenience store next door; the bed was definitely “budget” quality, lacking the plush pillow‑top experience that’s common now in hotels, yet I still slept well.
