The only perk was the decent location, but the room I first checked into looked nothing like the photos; the air conditioner ran for at least twenty minutes without cooling, and the noise was loud. The wardrobe smelled strongly of mildew, so I couldn't hang my clothes, and the internal phone was broken, forcing me to walk to the front desk for help. Even after they swapped me into another room, the cleanliness was still lacking: curtains had visible stains and the toilet seat had an unknown sticky residue.

“有待改進”

The front‑desk service was fairly good and deserves a mention, but I immediately noticed a strong mildew smell upon arrival. Later, the bathroom was shockingly dirty, as if it had never been cleaned; I’ve never seen such a situation in a Taiwanese hotel. This was my first visit to Kinmen, and I had expected a better impression of the local accommodations—clearly the hotel needs stricter cleaning supervision.

“Good hotel for it's price, but do not expect too much.”

The location was very good and convenient, close to many popular restaurants and bus stops, and the room rates were very affordable. The hotel was quiet, offered complimentary water, and free Wi‑Fi in every room. The rooms were a bit old but still bearable; the water heater took a while to heat the water, and the AC didn’t work well, leaving the room very chilly in the middle of the night.
