Soksan Natura Beach

I had an excellent stay on Koh Rong, Cambodia – the welcome was warm, the whole team was friendly, energetic, and always ready to help, making us feel instantly at home. The hotel and restaurant sit right across from a stunning white‑sand beach with crystal‑clear turquoise water, an absolutely beautiful setting. The restaurant serves delicious, generous dishes. The rooms are comfortable, air‑conditioned, and have hot showers, which is great after a day at the beach. Everything offered excellent value for money. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy Koh Rong’s beauty in a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere, and I’ll definitely return.

The spot is great even though it’s isolated, and the beach is gorgeous. It’s unacceptable that at dawn in 2026 you must pay in cash because the place lacks a POS; I had to go to a supermarket to withdraw money and they added an 8% fee. That’s SHAMEFUL. Write it in the notes for facilities that only accept cash so guests know whether to book or not. I repeat: it’s SHAMEFUL that these problems happen in 2026!!!

“Absolute paradise on the remote western beach of Koh Rong island, but mind the sand flies!”

This tiny resort sits on what might be the most beautiful beach ever. I went during the low season, so it was very quiet. Long and Sak, the two guys running the place, are both lovely and always around if you need anything. There are a few cute beach dogs, which is a plus if you enjoy their company. Food and beer are available all day in their little café. My bungalow had good air‑con, hot water, and the bed was very comfy. The location is incredibly remote, so be prepared for that. Because of the remoteness, the sand fly population is extreme; they seem to target by blood type and don’t affect everyone equally. I was unfortunately bitten heavily near the beach, which is oddly upsetting given how gorgeous the beach and ocean are. More populated beach areas have fewer sand flies. Covering your body completely in coconut oil creates a barrier that the flies can’t bite through, but you must reapply after swimming, which becomes a huge hassle to relax and enjoy the beauty. I know this is beyond the resort’s control and didn’t affect my overall rating, but I’m leaving this as a helpful note for anyone staying in this paradise.

“Peaceful beach getaway with friendly staff and stunning views”

Many thanks to Long and his staff for a lovely stay; the location is stunning, everyone was incredibly supportive and accommodating. The staff were friendly and engaging, the setting was beautiful and very peaceful – perfect beach getaway. The beach is quite clean and the amenities are great, especially for the price. The friendly dog is a huge bonus! Highly recommend!

The staff are very friendly and always available, offering details like snorkel gear, beach towels, and breakfast options. The location is great for exploring the island, with easy access by motorcycle. The room and bathroom are spacious, just as shown in the photos. The accommodation has a lot of potential but feels quite abandoned; it lacks cleanliness and maintenance. The hotel’s beach area is moderately clean, but if you move a bit away you’ll find huge amounts of trash.
