“Beautiful homely bnb retreat”

The welcome was warm and friendly, giving the sense of still being at home and an instant feeling of peace. The place is well loved and cared for, and all the natural beauty surrounding the house, along with the use of wood in the construction, radiates a strong energy that makes you feel the place. Sitting on the private balcony, having a BBQ for dinner, and enjoying breakfast or coffee while listening to nature amid beautiful scenery and trees was a delight. The hot tub on the deck outside our door was another highlight. Absolutely family‑friendly or suitable for singles/couples. Big thanks to the owner Leonnie and her partner Salt, a lovely host. There was nothing I didn’t like. It’s my absolute favourite place I’ve stayed at so far in my travels.

Breakfast required you to mix your own ready‑mix pancake batter, which turned out awesome, especially with the cockatoos perched on the same deck feeding while you enjoyed the beautiful views. It was seriously great, and if you’re not into pancakes the town has amazing spots for breakfast. At the Buddha room, I would have liked more lights on the steps leading to the shared bathroom; it was a bit dark at night and the steps were hard to see.
