Foyer renovations are nice. Front desk staff are relatively well trained. Our room had dreadful carpet stains that should have been removed from the carpets and the bathroom tiles. I don't expect to stay in a room for the local priced especially in PNG where the staff get paid a pittance. The carpets are badly stained and the tiling is also stained. I am assuming that these executive rooms will be renovated in time. It will not be too soon. The room was 1408 if you want to verify my observations. Everything from the hot buffet was cold. that applied to the three meals we had there. The staff appeared not well trained in the buffet and were forever making errors in the adjacent coffee shop &more. We spent over K2.500 K on coffee and cakes during meetings every day (5days) and there were constant errors with everyone's orders. Hot Buffet needs to be hot! Choice was not up to Sheraton Standards
