It was great to stay here for our first forced vacation (due to a bathroom renovation), just my 4‑year‑old daughter and me in a glamping site—she had the time of her life and I did too! The tent was perfect because a large playground let her play happily while I could watch from the lounge sofa, keeping an eye on everything and relaxing at the same time; there was also a wonderful pool with delightful water, perfect after the recent tropical heat, and we really enjoyed the trampolines, goats and alpacas. The glamping was right next to a busy road, so traffic roared past loudly, and the bathroom only had one hook for a towel, plus just four coat hooks, which felt a bit scarce for a family, though we were only two.

We had a fantastic time at this massive lodge, which was perfect for our kids. The playground right outside our lodge was a huge hit, with an air trampoline, table tennis table, and football court that kept them entertained for hours. However, the pool was a major letdown - it was freezing cold, and our kids were shivering after just five minutes in the water. We were expecting a lot more from a place that was supposed to be a highlight of our trip, especially since it was still August.
