“Excellent value for money. Will return”

The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable, and the old mill buildings were turned into a sympathetic space. The restaurant was lovely, the food really good, and the service at dinner and breakfast was excellent. The only downside was that when we ate, we were close to the kitchen and the kitchen staff were quite noisy—a small issue.

“Poor experience..... be wary especially if parking/staying there.”

The overall setting was nice, the staff and food were okay. I entered my details on the hotel tablet as instructed, but received two parking fines totaling £200. I challenged the parking company, Smart Parking Ltd, but only got an automated email reply and no further response. Online reviews say they are unprofessional and hard to deal with. I paid for the best room and ended up in a basement sweat pit with one tiny pavenent level window, which did not match my expectations and felt overpriced for what it was.

“udany pobyt”

The breakfasts were good and the buildings were beautiful. My room was in a basement, the air was damp, and there was mold on the shower grout, but otherwise the room was spacious and warm.

“Peaceful & restorative riverside overnighter.”

Close to town with plenty of parking and easy access, the buildings are interesting and beautifully preserved. The room was spotless, pretty, and overlooked the river; tea, coffee, and water in the room were very welcome. The food at the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was outstanding. I will definitely return.
