The building’s layout was solid, but the breakfast fell short.

The property feels like a lovely old country house with plenty of gardens and green spaces; the rooms are decent, the staff are attentive, and the food is very good. The only drawback is that it’s next to a main road, so it can be a bit noisy in the mornings.
