Convenient spot, spotless rooms, and the breakfast spread was solid! The parking lot sits on a hill, which isn’t terrible but not ideal either.

We had a sitting area in our room, and the ice machines were easily reachable; the staff helped carry our suitcase up a short staircase. The breakfast seating was insufficient, so we ended up on the lobby couch, which felt awkward, though others did the same.

Breakfast was great, especially the coffee machine. The room, however, carried a cigarette‑smoke odor and the bathroom floor was covered in hair.

“It was a good home base for the three days in Halifax.”

The room was tidy and modern, the bed was excellent, parking was free, and it was quiet—though it’s not downtown. I expected a bay‑view room, but the view is only from the front porch near the breakfast area.
