The place is perfectly situated and we fell in love with every corner – the kitchen, the rooms, the living area and the patio are all spacious. The owners are always around, leading trips like the tiger‑jump waterfall hike and even taking us up to the edge. When we left, the owner surprised us with homemade dulce de leche balls and a little cake – a real treat.

Lore and Dani run the hostel with a lot of love and are always ready to help. It’s just a few blocks from the main avenue in a lovely neighborhood, so we didn’t need any taxis. The rooms are comfy, and a little farther away Lore’s own grocery has everything at good prices. Since they’re both guides, they set up custom outings that are well organized and cheap. I’d come back a thousand times.

The owners are genuinely kind and make you feel like part of the family. They’re quick to help and even offered us a fantastic day‑trip that included a mountain hike. The hostel itself is clean, well‑stocked, and has everything you’d need for a true Argentine stay in Merlo.
