“Good location”
I liked the comfortable bed, the pool, the staff, and the location, but the room smelled moldy, there was noise from the hallways and the adjoining room, and valet parking was expensive.
“Ne retournerai jamais et ne recommanderai jamais cet hôtel !”
Nothing at all; the photos are completely misleading. The place feels ancient and rundown, and the rooms are so damp that the sheets and pillows are practically wet.

The location is fine, but it claims to be four stars yet doesn’t look or act like it.
“The destination fee is not helpful and the restaurant is very understaffed. The restaurant is dirty.”
The rooms were good, the location great, and most staff were sweet and helpful—except the restaurant manager. They added a 30 dollar destination fee that includes a 20 dollar credit usable at the restaurant. We were eating outside the hotel, so we stopped in one morning to use that credit for coffee. The manager was very rude, there was only one waiter who had to serve all tables, make lattes, and it seemed very understaffed. She told us “only lattes” because she probably wasn’t used to making espresso drinks. While waiting for the lattes, a roach crawled out on the chair next to me!

This was my third stay at Kimpton. The staff always greeted me warmly, the stay was comfortable, and the location is excellent—close to the riverside and the SCAD campus dorms. I was really disappointed with the food at Pacci; it was overpriced, flavorless, and expensive. Breakfast and brunch were on point, but dinner was really bad.
