It’s close to the centre, but the bed was very uncomfortable.

Everything about Ivy House was great. Theo was friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Most importantly, our host Duncan was a genuinely nice man who made us feel very welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious breakfast, which was included with the room. There was nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was good, the bed was fine, and the owner was very pleasant. However, there were missing finishing touches like a button on the toilet, the doors looked unclean, the headboard was a bit yucky, and the carpets needed cleaning.

Good location. Very helpful. Good breakfast. Parking was difficult. Wi‑Fi was poor.
