“Worth the effort to reach there for a friendly stay amongst the wildlife”

This place was a real highlight of my trip to Uganda - the simple, rustic setting was somehow even more stunning when watching the wildlife roam at sunset from my balcony. The staff member Jamilah gave me a fascinating tour of the nearby village, introducing me to the locals and sharing their way of life. She even cooked me a delicious fresh tilapia for dinner, which was a lovely touch.

If you want to immerse yourself in Ugandan nature and culture, this place is a must-visit. The thatched-roof cottages are rustic, but it's that charm that makes this lodge so special. The surrounding wildlife is incredible, and the lake Edward beach with its fishing boats and hippos is breathtaking. The lodge even cooks up a tasty fresh fish for dinner, and the authentic village nearby is a memory you'll treasure. It's a truly unforgettable experience.

“Mahtava kokemus”

The wildlife right outside my door was a real treat, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was all locally sourced and delicious, which was a great bonus. My only gripe was that the room wasn't particularly clean, although the sheets were spotless. Still, it's a great option if you're looking for a rustic, off-the-beaten-path experience.
