“This Dorm Experience Was Not Like It Was in College!”
Sergay was pleasant and helpful, and I met a nice guy from The Ivory Coast, but most of the men there were sullen and morose at best, snoring and farting the rest of the time. The house reeked like a men's locker room—even after the windows were open. The floors were crunchy—never vacuumed or cleaned. The kitchen, stove and fridge were filthy—I cleaned the kitchen as best as I could just to be able to fix food and eat. The TV was unusable. The couch was so filthy I wiped it down, but didn’t feel comfortable enough to sit—NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR WOMEN. I had the same guy walk into the bathroom twice during my stay—he never said a word, just grunted a lot. I locked the door to the toilet and said I would be out in 10 minutes after doing my sink chores. The chairs in the living/work room were either broken or on their way to being such, and the plugs for working were loose and dangerous—overall this could only really work for a young guy who doesn’t care about being clean, having a place to eat or any relaxation besides his phone.
