“Sehr angenehmer Zwischenstopp”
We really liked the Cielo y Selva accommodation; it was the perfect stop between Mérida and Bacalar. After visiting the Uxmal ruins in the morning, we arrived in Tekax late afternoon and were thrilled to jump straight into the pool and cool off. The rooms were bright, clean, and comfortably spacious, with large, comfy beds. We booked two double rooms for four people, and if traveling with younger kids, a single four‑person room might even suffice. In the evening we dined at the hotel’s restaurant and were satisfied, and breakfast was fine. We ordered egg dishes for an extra fee because toast, fruit, and cereal alone felt a bit scant. For the price, Cielo y Selva is a very good stopover, we felt comfortable and would recommend it anytime. Everything was fine.
