“Not up to expectations and food was too bad”

The resort sits within walking distance of the beach, and the manager is courteous and reachable, but there’s no lift and a deluxe sea‑view room is on the third floor, making it tough for older travelers; the room felt cramped and not truly deluxe, power cuts are frequent with no generator or candles, breakfast is included but the food was unsanitary, no lids were provided, and the staff forgot orders; I attached photos, paid for the meal, yet no refund was offered for cancellation, and I was charged the full room rate for a one‑day cancellation, losing 3000, plus an extra 700 for an extra bed and food that wasn’t worth it; two other nearby hotels offer better sea views, while this one only gives a partial view.

“Ideal for someone looking to stay near beach, but don’t expect sea facing rooms.”

It’s close to Kovalam Lighthouse beach and just a 2‑3 minute walk to plenty of food spots, but the balconies don’t face the beach—they’re on the side, and the car can’t reach the property, so you must walk, though they help carry luggage.

The staff were very helpful, the location great, and our balcony faced the lighthouse and the beach to the right.

The rooms are neat, clean and spacious with a comfortable balcony. The location isn’t on the seafront; it’s a building away from the shore, so a full sea view isn’t possible. Still, we enjoyed our stay there.

“Great”

The location is strategic – even though the rooms didn’t have a direct view of the shore, the advertised lighthouse view was there. The staff were friendly and hassle‑free. The problem was that there is no road access to the property, but the staff came to pick up luggage from the drop point. Another issue was the lack of a lift for upper floors – the staff did help with luggage, but anyone who has trouble climbing stairs should be aware.
