Hotel Relax Sovata

The hotel sits in a quiet, picturesque spot next to a forest where I even spotted deer. The food was delicious and varied, the spa area was superb, and the staff were very kind and helpful. I had the most relaxing holiday, thanks Hotel Relax! Next time I’ll go in summer to swim and use the outdoor pool.

This hotel doesn’t even deserve three stars and I don’t know how it operates. The Spa Center, including the jacuzzi, was unclean. In the outdoor jacuzzi you could see grime deposits at the bottom. The room’s hallway was damp, with a persistent sewage smell and dust; no one came for daily cleaning. I asked to leave a day early and get a refund, but the management advised me to contact them because they couldn’t return the money. They agreed, then contacted the property, which no longer agreed to refund. The toilet and sanitary area lacked cleaning strips, the toilet had a patch on it. The receptionist was nastier than a lemon. I don’t recommend it.

“Super”

The room was spacious, the staff were friendly, parking was on site, and finally a place with comfortable pillows. The balcony railings were unstable and would need renovation to avoid hazards.

“Kellemes”

It’s a very quiet spot where you can relax. The apartment was nice and clean, and the food was fine. I liked the outdoor pool, but in September the salt pool should still be operational; not everyone is a fan, and we’d happily spend time outside even at 14‑15 °C. Unfortunately, there’s no elevator and many stairs, so I don’t recommend it for those with leg or hip pain. The main dishes at dinner were tasty but cold. The indoor wellness area was out of order for a day and a half due to a malfunction. We missed the fact that the outdoor salt pool wasn’t operating, even though there was demand.
