L'Agora Old Town Hotel & Bazaar

This beautifully restored stone building surrounds an open courtyard right in the heart of Kemeraltı. Stepping out of the door, you’re already in the bazaar, with the Agora a few minutes away and the lanes leading to Kadifekale just behind. For exploring old İzmir on foot, the location is unbeatable. The team were genuinely welcoming and helpful with directions and local tips, making a short two‑night stay feel effortless. The room was comfortable and breakfast was a good start to the day. The courtyard itself is a lovely place to sit in the evening. Nothing worth reporting; two nights was too short.

“Great stay!”

The hotel was very nice, with staff who were amazingly kind and helpful—especially Turker! The breakfast was great too. Everything was really good.

The stay was absolutely amazing! From the comfortable rooms and aesthetic decor to the Old Town Restaurant with live music every evening, it’s located in the central area of the bazaar—definitely a must!

“Für eine Nacht interessant, aber nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen”

Central location. Friendly staff. Loud and bright‑through; the bed was very hard and no eye was closed. Dinner in the courtyard was average, and the staff seemed totally overwhelmed. Live music was ear‑splitting.
