The modern, updated facility really had everything, like a hair straightener, which isn’t common in many B&Bs/hotels. Cleanliness was impeccable, and the lady who welcomed us was very cordial, kind, and attentive to detail. We stayed with her for my birthday, and she even arranged for a cake to be delivered—a gesture not taken for granted and not common. We will definitely return!

The room looked nice, was clean, had an en‑suite bathtub and a stylish finish, and there was a complimentary beer in the fridge. Communication with the host could have been better; the policy about the communal fridge was unclear: it’s for guests to use, yet guests are told they can take anything they want from it. As a result, I left two craft beers in the fridge in the morning and they were gone by the afternoon. It’s not about the beers, but it’s unpleasant when your stuff gets stolen. The host said “probably the other guests took them” as if that was normal, which was annoying, but she refunded me, which I’m thankful for.
