“Ótima localização e instalações precárias”
The place sits right at the start of the trail to the Alcantilado, surrounded by peaceful, beautiful nature, and breakfast—simple but delicious—is served on the “balcony” with plenty of calm. The room was spotless. This was our second visit because of the proximity to the Alcantilado and friends’ house, and we always needed a comfortable spot to sleep while our activities were outdoors. The first time we took the cheapest room in the main house and regretted it; it was in the attic and my husband couldn’t stand up straight because of the sloping roof. This time we got a ground‑floor “better” room but it was freezing cold—no thermal insulation, gaps in the window, and the fireplace only lit after my husband kept insisting; the wood was damp and there were no instructions for lighting it. We couldn’t get a hot shower and the night was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend either the attic room or this ground‑floor one; I don’t know about the chalets.
