Located in Ravna Gora village, 4 km off the E65 European Route between Zagreb and Rijeka, Pansion Bijela Ruža - a la carte offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. The on-site restaurant serves traditional recipes, including bear meat stews and deer sausages, on a lovely wooden-roofed terrace. Bike rentals and a hair salon are available, with 150 km of cycling tracks nearby and a 45-minute drive to the nearest beach.

I slept like a log in the super comfy bed, and the breakfast was excellent, though the pillows could have been a bit more comfortable.

The room was tidy and clean, the rates were reasonable, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding, but it was a bit too warm for our liking, otherwise everything was great.

Finding this place was pure luck; we rarely had such great food, the location was quiet at the village's edge yet still close to the highway, the staff were incredibly friendly, and overall it was simply wonderful.
