“Muito boa estadia num hotel bem localizado em S. Tomé.”

The hotel’s location is excellent, right at the end of the S. Tomé marginal with a lovely view of the bay. The staff were very friendly. We arrived at 8 a.m. to drop off our luggage because we wouldn’t be checking in until the afternoon, but they let us into the room right away, which was fantastic. Breakfast was pretty good. The pool was pleasant but needed some maintenance on the lining; it’s an infinity pool, so it feels like we’re in the sea. The hotel could use some maintenance work to keep the “Pestana quality,” though it’s still quite acceptable.

“Lugar tranquilo”

The hotel sits on a bay and the views are beautiful from everywhere. We had a balcony room that was perfect at sunrise. The pool is very well kept and clean, and the room is very comfortable. The downside is there’s no beach access; there’s a sun‑bathing area but the beach is full of rocks. They don’t offer a kettle in the room, which is common at this level, and the cocktail selection at the bar could be broader.

The staff were friendly and the place was clean. For the level and prices, a capsule coffee machine in the room would be expected.

“zum Empfehlen.”

The hotel is on the edge of São Tomé city, great for walking around town or going out to eat, and the pool is awesome. The entrance to the sea was not easy to reach.
