Brecks Hotel, Blackpool, occupies a recently renovated historic building overlooking a sun‑lit terrace and lush garden, with free WiFi throughout. Rooms feature private bathrooms, tea and coffee makers, electric kettles, and TVs. Guests receive a full English or Irish breakfast in-room or an à‑la‑carta selection. The hotel lies a 12‑minute walk from North Beach, within 1 km of Blackpool Tower, Winter Gardens Theatre, and Madame Tussauds.

I was welcomed warmly by the friendly owners, the room was quiet with a comfortable bed, and everything was nice and clean. Nothing to complain about.

Breakfast was excellent, the location was great for the Winter Gardens and the seafront, the shower was very good, and the price was very competitive for the standard offered. The bed had a footboard, so for someone over 6ft I had to sleep diagonally. Surfaces and sills in the room needed a wipe down, and like many hotels the bathroom extractor fan was clogged with dust and needed cleaning, which I had to do myself.
