The breakfast was tasty, and the couple’s service was very warm. The décor is stylish and shows a lot of attention to detail.

We were thrilled with our time at Björk; the lodge feels warm, quiet, comfortable, and cozy, tucked neatly between Suginohara and Akakura, so the slopes are less than a 10‑minute drive away. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and peaceful, and the home‑cooked meals are fantastic, especially the refined breakfast. The highlight, however, was the hospitality—Mamiko and Atsushi are genuinely beautiful people who infuse the lodge with wonderful energy. We had to leave.
