“Expérience plutôt décevante”

The breakfast and meals fell short compared with the Moroccan fare you can find in other riads; we only got a single tagine during the whole week and no couscous at all, and the desserts were equally disappointing. There was no thought given to intermediate surfers or those who wanted to surf as much as possible – being a surf camp, it felt wrong to be pulled out of the water after a two‑hour session with no option to stay on site. The first departures didn’t start before 10:30 am, even though the best waves are between 6 and 9 am. Moreover, the Imsouane trip was cancelled at the last minute without any real explanation.

My girlfriend and I spent four nights there (booking through the website is advisable) and enjoyed a lovely, active, and wonderful stay. We were in a private double room with very comfortable beds! Everything was taken care of – neoprene wetsuits, surfboards, and transfers – and the hosts were extremely friendly. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were prepared with a lot of love and always fresh! We’ll be back to the surf hostel in March 2027.
