The onsen was fantastic, but some rooms feel a bit older and the air conditioning stopped working.

Amazing experience. The staff service is next-level. The dinner is a MUST, everything was so delicious. Breakfast was also great. The location is great, highly recommend checking out the village and seeing the Jigoku/hells. The room was amazing. Tatami room with Zataku and Zaisu for relaxing. While dinner is being served the staff prepares your futon. There is a twin bed if you are unable to sleep on the futon. The room was large, clean, and had an elevated feel. The facilities are wonderful, the public bath is very relaxing. The gift shop is worth checking out for souvenirs and omiyage. Be sure to have cash for the gift shop. There is an ATM in the post office at the other end of town. If you are taking the bus after checkout, the staff will drive you to the bus station. Very helpful since it is uphill. My shower had slightly weird pressure issues but still usable

Everything about the view, onsen, food, and staff was perfect, but the futons were only installed around 7 pm by the staff—I wish they had set them up earlier.

Breakfast was good. The view was nice. The staff were helpful. The outdoor bath was great.
