The spot was quiet and you could meet other travelers; the rooftop terrace was pleasant, and there were games in the common area. The kitchen was minimal but handy, and we could borrow bikes, which let us hike to San Juan—a big plus! We didn’t get towels for free and had to pay for them. The Wi‑Fi was rather limited, and the soundproofing was lacking—talking in the common area felt like the door or window was open. Still, the place remained calm and enjoyable.

There was plenty of space, the bathroom was very clean, and we had private access to the lake. However, it was far out, 30 minutes on foot, which a woman might not want to walk at night. The kitchen could have been cleaner.

The owners were very nice, the common area was great for chilling, and the beds were comfortable. The location is a bit outside San Pedro and the walk into town isn’t particularly pleasant, but you can take a tuk‑tuk and get to San Pedro quickly.
