The property matched our expectations: it was exactly what we imagined, in an ideal location, far from the city and quite peaceful. Unfortunately, my experience fell short in several ways. Around 8:00 pm the owner asked me to lower the TV volume; after I complied, he asked me to turn it down even more. I explained that it was pointless to watch if I couldn’t hear it, but the situation felt handled poorly and unprofessionally, especially at that hour. Breakfast was also a major let‑down: the bread seemed stale, no eggs were offered, and the bread was so hard it was difficult to eat and could have broken a tooth. Overall, there’s a lot of room for improvement in hospitality, communication, and breakfast quality.

The place was clean, the breakfast quality was good, and the view of the fields was lovely. However, there was a large, beautiful beam in the room that you still had to be careful not to bump into, the VMC in the shower made noise, and the toilets were on the upper floor.

We loved the house and its location—perfect for disconnecting, very peaceful. Every part of the house reflects the host Sophie’s good taste.

Sophie was delightful; the house and garden are beautiful. The pool is wonderful, and homemade yogurt and breakfast food were great—nothing was too much trouble. The only downside was the shared toilet on the landing.

“un bel endroit au calme”

The house is gorgeous and fully renovated, quiet, with a huge garden and pool, right in the middle of the fields, 10 minutes from Agen. The attic rooms have exposed beams (watch out for dizziness). Sophie is charming and available.
