The hotel and room were lovely, and after switching from a single to a double, the bed felt massive. The view across the Kamo River was beautiful, and the free tote for all the complimentary snacks was a nice touch. The staff were wonderful, and walking to the main tourist spots or catching a bus was easy. I’d stay here again.

The room was beautiful and the staff delightful. We also dined at the on‑site restaurant and the wait staff were attentive. A bus stop is right at the door to Kyoto Station. It was ideal; I'd stay again.

The pink and black color scheme was striking, but the subway station was far away.
