Good location in the centre, a nicely decorated room with wooden furniture and a balcony in a traditional building with Bali vibes. The staff was friendly and let me check in early. With a bit more attention to some details this could be a very nice place. No toilet paper (I can deal with that), no trash can (that’s a problem), but the real issue was the air‑conditioning which started to make a terrible noise after ten minutes. Turning it on and off didn’t help; I had to switch it off completely to sleep. Of course the room became too hot and stuffy, so I didn’t sleep much. When I wanted to check out in the morning, I couldn’t find any staff members. The gate was open, which didn’t feel very safe.

The sheets weren't always changed, so double‑check that. Apart from that, everything else was fine. The welcome was excellent – the staff went out of their way to help.
