The room was tidy and had working AC, plus hot and cold water; the only odd thing was that there was a kettle but no dishes to use.

I could walk to local restaurants, "The Chill", Penida Bakery, Punto Coffee, shops, the dive centre "2 fish" and a currency exchange; the room offered good Wi‑Fi and hot water, and the best way to get there is by the Idola boat to Sampalan Port, so just call WA Efendi for anything you need.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious, clean, and exactly as shown in the photos.
