The bed in my room was comfortable, the price was fair, and the restaurant served a good meal; there was also a bar. The décor, however, felt a bit dated.

The room, dinner, and breakfast were all decent, and overall it was a good stay, but the tea and coffee we received in the room came without any milk.

The hostel is well‑located on the right bank of the Loire, midway between Tours and Saumur, with private parking, free Wi‑Fi, an elevator, and even a disabled room. The welcome was warm and the staff friendly. The food was very good and varied, with reasonable prices and several menus, including a vegetarian one. Breakfast was very adequate. The room was comfortable with good bedding. I’d stay again! It’s a pity that the seafood platters on the menu have to be ordered days in advance, but after all it isn’t on the coast.
