The staff were polite and kind. The child menu was overly generous, with portions too large to finish; the price was high, so I understand the reasoning, but a lower price and a more compact meal would be better. Splitting the menu by age group could also work. The adult course seemed stretched to accommodate that many people, which felt forced.

The location was a bit out of the way but stunning, and the view of Sakurajima was amazing. The hotel room was nice, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and always present. The in‑room onsen was great, and you could see the steam vent right outside the balcony. The food was fantastic. The only downside was the lack of other dining options unless you had a car; some places were closed because of the holiday. The hotel’s food was excellent, but I still wanted to try other local cuisine.

The location and views were good, and the on‑site shop and onsens were convenient. Free transport to the station and temple was provided. The downside was the closure of the outdoor pool, the early closing hours, and the very high restaurant prices.

Everyone on staff was fantastic—from the front desk to the parking guide and the housekeeping crew. The night shift at the restaurant was especially outstanding, and the morning team kept up the same high level. Only the directions were a bit confusing.
