I stayed at Das Landhotel zur Schmiede, a small but lovely place with an attached restaurant. The room wasn’t huge, but for us who were on the move all day it was more than enough. Breakfast was delicious and we didn’t miss anything. In the restaurant we got exactly what we wanted, and we dined there four evenings, which shows how good it was. We really appreciated the cheerful and attentive staff; everyone worked hand in hand, and even the chefs weren’t shy about getting involved in any task.
