The breakfast was fantastic. Every evening (five times) we dined in the hotel’s restaurant because the food was freshly prepared, tasted great, and offered good value for money.

The staff were very friendly, the room and bathroom aren’t very large but are clean and apparently newly renovated. The proximity to the city center and the castle is excellent – everything is reachable on foot. The street-facing room was noisy because of the tram; we had earplugs but chose not to use them. Unfortunately the elevator was out of service (missing a spare part) and reaching the third floor was already a challenge. We would recommend the hotel if the elevator is fixed, but with a rear-facing room. The breakfast was very good, plentiful, and offered a great variety – there was something for everyone. We didn’t like the out-of-service elevator at the time – it was mentioned to us beforehand – and the tram noise wasn’t ideal.
